About the Course

The Spanish course is specifically designed for non-native speakers who seek to acquire or refine their language skills in a systematic and effective manner. Our approach focuses on enhancing conversational competencies through a robust development of grammar, vocabulary, reading and oral expression.

The curriculum includes internal texts that explore relevant stories from Latin American culture, allowing students to delve into these aspects under the guidance of experienced Guatemalan teachers. The course is structured into six different levels, with each session divided into two essential components: grammar and conversation, ensuring a comprehensive and dynamic learning experience.

Learning Levels

A1: Introduction to Spanish

This level is ideal for those taking their first steps in learning Spanish. Here, you will learn:

Basic vocabulary: greetings, introductions, numbers, and colours.

Fundamental grammar: articles, pronouns, and present tense verbs.

Simple conversations: everyday expressions and essential phrases for interacting in daily situations, such as in stores or restaurants.

A2: Knowledge Expansion

At this level, you will consolidate what you have learned and expand your vocabulary and grammatical structures. You will learn to:

Describe experiences and routines: talk about your daily life, family and activities.

Use the simple past: narrate events and share simple stories.

Engage in more complex conversations: ask questions and provide more elaborate responses.

Participate in interactive exercises: dialogues, role-plays, and group activities that encourage active practice.

B1: Intermediate

This level allows you to communicate more fluently in Spanish. In B1, you will learn to:

Discuss a variety of topics: travel, hobbies, and personal preferences.

Conduct conversations: express opinions and make comparisons.

Use more complex verb tenses: introduce the future and conditional.

B2: Upper Intermediate
